I could make them differently.
I just don’t want to.

Made by hand in Noosa, one pair at a time. X

Packing a pair of Holiday Slides for a beautiful repeat customer in Adelaide 🤎

One of those Woven Palm styles I’ve loved for years. Simple, easy, the kind of slide you throw on all summer and somehow it works with everything.

Made here, packed here, then off to its new home.

Making shoes just happens to be one of the places I notice it most.

Just trying to film a very serious shoe try-on… 🐕

The Sorrento lately, 11 years ago I created my first pair & they literally go with anything.

Probably the pair I reach for most, without really thinking about it.

Handmade in Noosa. By me 🤎

There is no faster version of this.

Every strip cut by hand.
Every row woven by hand.
One pair, slowly taking shape on my bench in Noosa.

Could I make them faster? Probably.
But they wouldn’t be these.

The Rosette Mule. Made slowly, worn for years. 🤎

Noosa to Paris.

The Sorrento Classic, from a hide of Italian finished leather to a pair of shoes.

Cut, punched, woven, lasted and finished by hand in my little Noosa studio.

I’ve been making versions of this shoe for the last 10 years, and I still love watching them come together.

Made slowly. Made to be worn for years. 🤎

Haven’t done one of these in a very long time… Turns out I still feel mildly ridiculous filming try-ons 😂

But here are a few Woven Palms I’ll be wearing this spring.
Made by me. Worn by me. Judged by Bonnie. 😂

Which pair are you wearing?

There are faster ways to make a shoe.
This just isn’t one of them.

Each pair passes through my hands from the first cut of leather to the final stitch… cut, punched, woven, pulled, trimmed and finished here in my little Noosa shoe-dio.

It means I’ll never make hundreds at a time. And I’m quite happy with that.
Made slowly, because that’s the point.

Less, but better.

Woven Palm.
